Dreams wip by Dizzy-Cat Dreams wip by Dizzy-Cat
Been really trying to work on on backgrounds, i always do them last though which i think is what makes me rush them :<

So the last com i did -yet to upload- i did the background first and its was a bit of an improvement, so im reworking on my shiz to try and get better at it. I think this is a marked improvement :>

Does anyone know any good tutorials for trees though, i feel like thats the worst part of it ;o;

What do yous think of the background though, do you see any improvement?

Not looking for harsh crits, cause i know its not upto par, but rather any tips or suggesttions would be great <3

[link] You might find this useful =) I think it'll work well with the foreground/background and your style ^_^

Overall I like the background, simple yet it gives the perfect atmosphere. Although it almost seems like the bushes are far more detailed than say the tree...but seeing as it's WIP, who knows if you're still working on the tree. Then again...I wouldn't listen to me. I never do backgrounds. XD

the tree is where im having trouble ^^;

i always have trouble making it look like a finished work, and the tree hates me ;o; i think i spent about 3 hours on the damn shading for it XD

im still trying to find a good tutorial for drawing bark and such OwO

the bushes were such a fluke with some brush settings, i actually wrote them down so i can use it again X3

Hehe. Well, at least you're attempting backgrounds. Almost everything I draw is a blank background. X.x;

I suppose you could put an actual tree in the background, draw over it, and then remove the real tree?
